Stanwood Welcome Arch 2025
This art piece was created for the pillar on the Stanwood Welcome Arch. Snow Geese migrate through Stanwood twice a year. It’s beautiful, wild and exciting event to see. I created this piece to try to depict this nature.
Stanwood Camano Arts Advocacy Commission Macfest 2024
This door was one of eight doors commissioned by SCAAC for the month long first annual Macfest. Eight different Artist chosen to paint art on a door during a full day street event. The doors were then auctioned off to raise money for the school art fund and for the artist. As a Quilter and just finishing up with a new rectangle quilt top, I thought if would be great to create art on a door that would look like a quilt for a quilting studio.
Seattle Center Poetry Garden Art Series 2017-2018
This art piece was created for the poems in the garden. Each poem is thought provoking and the mind starts spinning. That is the reason why the traditional pinwheel quilt block was chosen. The use of bright color is to attract the people walking by to come in and explore the garden.
